Fallout 3 is a masterpiece in almost every way possible which makes it a perfect 10/10.
Graphics: 8.8/10.
This is by far the area were Fallout 3 does worst. The graphics might not be the best out there but they are still great. Fallout 3's graphics give the game a very post-apocalyptic feel to it even though they are not perfect. I guess you can say this is good though because i feel that the lack of amazing graphics really made this game feel like such a wasteland and the way they look on your TV will make you feel like everything you see has been affected by radiation.
Story Mode: 9.75/10.
Many people have told me that besides the graphics and story mode Fallout 3 is an amazing experience, but that shocks me. Yes the graphics are only great but, the story mode is absolutely amazing. The whole basis of the main story mode is that you are born and raised in a vault. One day your dad runs away from this vault and you have to go out and search for him. This story line which seems so simple eventually expands and at the end of it you will be involved in a huge war. This makes the story mode awesome and Fallout 3's main quest gives you that feeling of every action you take can change the world.

Game play: 10/10.
This is yet again another area where Fallout 3 destroys. Fallout 3's game play is perfect and it rarely ever gets boring. Enemies have large amounts of health at times and some battles can be extremely challenging, which makes the game play even more fun. The cool thing about Fallout 3's game play is that besides regular first person shooter action, there is a mode called V.A.T.S. When you are in this V.A.T.S. mode your target is frozen and the game will let you choose each body apart you want to shot and each body part has a percentage next to it to show how likely it is you will hit the target there. After you select the areas you want to shot at, the game goes to a slow mode camera thing that shows you your guys shooting the areas you wanted without you having to do anything but click were(pretty cool huh?). This addition to Fallout 3's already great first person shooter action makes the game play in Fallout 3 amazing.
Immersion: 10/10.
This is also another category were Fallout 3 recks in. Fallout 3 is probably one of the most immersive games of all time. There are over 100 locations to discover and exploring each one of these 100 locations is extremely important because you never know which one could have an amazing item that you won't find unless you go into the location and loot. Along with bringing over 100 locations to the game Fallout 3 also brings a huge open world map were these locations are randomly scattered. The area Fallout 3 takes place in (Washington D.C.) is very large and every major building that is in actually D.C. is in this game.
Voice acting and characters: 10/10.
Fallout 3 might have one of the biggest collections of voice actors for a video game in all time. Every single person you run into you can interact with and each person has a background to them and a daily routine which they go through over and over again. This is amazing and it makes the game seem more realistic than it probably should feel. Along with amazing side characters, Fallout 3 also has amazing main characters. My favorite out of all these characters is your dad in the game because his voice acting is very well done and his character feels the most attached to your character in the game.
Sound: 10/10.
The reason why Fallout 3 really succeeds in this category is because of the music. Fallout 3 brings in a large number of old 50s songs that really give the game the classic post-apocalyptic feel. These songs really add to the games game play and feel and it is loads of fun to hear an old/creepy 50s song play while you blast some guys head of in V.A.T.S. mode.

-Game play is rarely repetitive and always fun.

Biggest Cons:
-Game can sometimes glitch.
-Camera in third person view is bad.
Final Verdict:
Fallout 3 is one of those games that gives you more bang for your buck. It is an amazing game that i truly fell in love with. From the amazing guns, fun game play, great soundtrack, and highly addictive game play Fallout 3 is a must buy for any video gamer out there. Overall, Fallout 3 is one of my favorite games of all time due to all the reasons above and anyone that does not have it yet, go out and buy it now because Fallout 3 is an experience you cannot miss.
