7 words: Fallout Three is the meaning of awesome!

User Rating: 9.5 | Fallout 3 PC
Fallout 3 is an amazing, hours-of-fun role playing game, set hundreds of years in the remains of Washington DC after a two-hour, nuclear war desimated the face of the earth. Not only do you have tons of weapons to blast the sh-- out of mutants and thugs, but you also decide the way people respond to talking to you, or simply the response of being near them. While Fallout 3 does have many locations where you can't walk 50 feet without being into a mutated, radioactive bear, its strengths outmatch its weaknesses.

But one main problem with the game is going to Andale. Andale is a (blown-up) town with a family of inter-breeding cannibals. Some players discover Andale for the first time, and, due to a system bug, are immediately approached by the residents as if the player already went into the basement and shed with human corpses in cages, the true reason for this speach. It is for this reason that many low-level players die, since the player will often not know what they're talking about, lie about going into the shed, then get attacked by the psycho-killing family.

On the other hand, Fallout 3 is the best game for those whippersnappers out there who want an RPG with the action and sci-fi of Star Trek, and the horror-survival genre of Resident Evil. With lots of gutsy action (no pun intended) and lots of startling gameplay, Fallout 3 is, and always will be, "my first choice in nuclear apoctalyptic simulation"!
