You win some, you lose some, and Fable III is a solid mark in the 'win' column.

Fable III is a positive step forward for Lionhead, and I applaud them. Many additions were made to Fable this time around; including Spell Combos and an innovative new start menu that is a 'level' in its own right. Combat now includes some zest with the addition of flashy executions, such as throwing your Hero's sword into an opponent or breaking their neck, with no extra input required – allowing combat to flow freely without interruption. The level-up system is now a world of its own, both figuratively and literally. You enter this world and spend your pool of XP points (Guild Seals) to open chests, with more chests becoming available as you progress.

The expressions system was simplified a great deal, as were relationships in general. I was a bit disappointed in this, but it's a moot point.

Multiplayer has been redone, and I've been enjoying this to no end with my roommate.

Thank you, Lionhead, this is what I wanted!
