In 1991, F-Zero came on the Snes. It featured a different kind of racing game-play, being a futuristic racing game. Because of this, F-Zero is perhaps the most revolutionary racing game ever. There are many rocket powered cars, such as the famous Captain Falcon's Blue Falcon.

The games main flaw is a lack of multiplayer. Most racing games at the time had the option with playing with up to 2 to 4 players. However, this game simply doesn't have any, therefore if 2 or more people want to play the game, you must take turns. This gets incredibly annoying and frustrating to do.

Getting into the game, the graphics look beautiful. You can clearly recognize the buildings and tracks, and Mute City and Fire Field look amazing. This is some of the best level design in any game. The music is also awesome, with clever tracks on Mute City, the title screen, and more.

Without F-Zero, racing games wouldn't be where they are right now. this is simply one of the greatest games of all time, and although it lacks multiplayer, it doesn't lack fun. Overall, this is the best Snes racing game ever, and if you want a great racing game, this is a 100% chance of being on your list.
