great high speed racing game.
I didn't even realizes it was coming out till I saw it on store shelves a few weeks after its release and it ended up getting a very poor fate as far as sales wents,
But from a N64 standpoint short of mario I have to say this was perhaps one of the most fun racing games I have every played.
The graphics for its time were wonderful, detailed and a very impressive blur effect, the cars exploding seemed a touch cheesey but all and all it was a nice overall package for those who were dying for a racing game,
The gameplay was very seamless on an awkward N64 control pad, and realistically there was not too much storyline, it went back to the classic NES approach of having a story in the instruction book which saved them the trouble of adding it to the game.
The Sound was fairly average, nothing great, but again cars exploding very poorly done.
If you can find a copy kicking around at a garage sale or in a gaming store its a worth pick up great multiplayer and a solid "friendless" mode as well
