A game totally worth it!
The Game is good for so many reason and bad for so few.
The game's pretty easy on the hardware, which means we, who don't have a machine that churns out frame rates like rain drops from heavens in crysis, are going to be able to play the game at high settings without any noticeable frame rate drop. Doesn't mean the game looks bad, its just very efficient when it comes to working with what its got! The graphics are great enough for any gamer to enjoy! Like all the previous FEARs, animations are pretty excellent and you can see bodies flying around after a perfectly placed head-shot, close enough to how they would in real world.
Now the game-play. AWESOME! guys at FEAR really did a great job at this. While it lost the scares mainly because there is a feeling of strength one would get from doing it so many times already, it make up for it in pure gore! While you play as Point Man, emphasis is, like his character, on strategy, skill and precision...whereas while playing as Fettel, the emphasis is, again like his character, on gore and blood lust! I personally loved playing as fettel because one can use the powers he have in so many ways, it always gives you new acts to pull.
The smartest thing they did with F3AR was the whole leveling up by completing challenges thing. It gives you a solid base for replayablity and a sense of total immersion.I played through the whole thing just so that i can complete those challenges such as blabal number of head-shots, killing blabla number of bad guys right after a sliding kick and soo many more!
I thought about writing so much more...but I cant stop myself from going at it again...so this is all I am writing....see you running away from the wall! ;)
