more than obvious console port...... but still a F.E.A.R game at its core.

The horrible console port is even worse than fear 2. That aside the game does well with the way it upgrades you. It streamlined an already simple system to gain health etc. Normally I hate when they streamline upgrade systems in games but this one was so simple from day one it is sort of refreshing. Great sound atmosphere and gunplay like all fear games. cool story that links in with previous storys so i find myself saying "oh yea" alot. All around a solid game. If you love F.E.A.R as I do why are you reading reviews first just go buy it. go go. Everyone else, F.E.A.R has always been about the single player experience, sit in a dark room with some good headphones or surround sound and just let yourself get the crap scared out of you. Don't expect to love this game playing it with people running around in the living room in the middle of the day.
