Not as bad as they say...
No, it's not the deepest game in the world, but it sure is fun. A nice variety of weapons and lots of deadites to hack n' slash makes this game a very bloody one. The levels are interesting and it's actually well written, lots of little things the hardcore fans will eat right up. The one place where the game falls apart a tad is that there's no damn map. You spend a lot of time looking for things and going over the same places you've been before, and because of this, the dismembering of deadites gets old in the process. The game is best to be played in short spurts.
The locked arcade levels are awesome if you want to take turns with the controller and compete with your buddy, but alone aren't very interesting. Overall, it's a solid effort for the hardcore fans, for the others, hey, go play RE and let us have our fun.
