I also think this game is quite underrated. I don't think they were trying to make anything wildly original or mind-blowing, but this is a nice little game for Evil Dead fans. The main appeal is simply getting to be Ash. Bruce Campbell is of course a necessity for its success - imagine someone else trying to do the voicework for such an iconic character. Its totally cool running round with the chainsaw hand and boomstick causing deadite carnage, i'm sure this will tickle any Ash fans fancy on at least a simple level. A map would be useful, although getting your bearings can be turned into a wee challenge within itself. It would be nice to see a really top notch, original Evil Dead game, but in the meantime this is cheap and great to blow off a little steam.
