Everyday Shooter is an Indie dual-analog stick shooter fully developed by one man. Only available through the PS Store on the PS3, Everyday Shooter is a rather simple shooter with some pretty corny gimmicks. The game's very simple presentation is a bit on the obnoxious side as well as its bedroom rock guitar music. The game looks pretty nice though with some simple geometry used to create the the atmosphere. Unlike other games on the genre such as Geometry Wars, there are no power ups on ES, points are gained through chaining and gathering dots (not simply killing enemies), and each stage has its own unique way of chaining. It's for this reason that the game is pretty challenging albeit not as extravagant as say Geometry Wars. The lack of multiplayer and more stages hurts the overall package and only garnering a 6.5 rating from yours truly.
