The best basketball sim ever

First off let me just tell all you guys that I never thought i'd ever buy this game, but when I saw the price, I felt I should give it a shot and I feel extremely satisfied for doing so. The game doesn't have the great arcade-ish feel that live 2003 and 2004 have, but it is as realistic as your gunna get and that in itself makes it a game worthy of the scores I gave it.The visuals are beautiful, player models look great and are animated smoothly. The arena sounds and commentators do a great job of calling the action and don't get as repetitive as some of the other basketball games out there. The gameplay modes that in are in this game make up a huge portion of the game. Even though theres no dunk contest, the 24/7 option is a fun way of creating yourself and everyday slowly growing into a kickass player and going online and destroying people in 1 on 1 street ball games. While this game has some great gameplay options, the sim style might not play well for the casual gamer, stat hungry basketball fans will eat this one up, especially the franchise mode thats full of stellar options that will keep them busy for hours.Hardcore fans of the live series should still give this a try, they might be suprised, I was.
