Eragon is a good game but still has lots to work on. The Combat is fairly easy can pull off some simple combos more would be nice thugh. The magic attacks are only somtimes needed and used in gameplay. Except for the fire attack (L1+O) and the Magic Arrow (L1+R1+X). You also use the occational environmental amgic that keeps the plot moving. there are some dragon flying levels there good but there's only three which is dissapointing. The only things that didn't let me hate this game were the grapples (which are quite fun to look at and pull off, espeacially from different directions) and the co-op mode. eragon is a game to reccommend but you could wait for a better predecessor. Hopefully Eldest can do justice but if it doesn't then the videogame series of Eragon might be worth giving up. But the books are really good!
