It's 2009 and I just picked it up for $3. I guess it's worth that.

The idea of Enter the Matrix is actually pretty cool; it's a side story featuring Niobe and Ghost's adventure. I had no problem with playing as these characters.

The problem is the poor execution. The graphics are bland but the animations are just horrid. It's sad looking at the characters jump; they look like they can barely get off the ground. And this is supposed to be based on the Matrix universe. Then there's the uncontrollable (thus leading to bad angles) camera. In a run and gun game like this it's incredibly stupid for the developers to not implement a controllable camera via the right analog stick - instead they've given us a useless first person view mode???

The combat is kind of fun and running around the mazelike levels actually captures the movies pretty well. But overall this game fells like a rushed/incomplete game. Enter the Matrix is a beta version of Dead to Rights (a game made in 2002)
