Empire Earth was one of the first RTS game i have ever played and yes, i still play it for hours. The game itself is so simple and made so correctly for a RTS, that it just captures you. When you start a Single Player match, you have to do the basics: start organizing, collecting resources, create defenses and everything you really do in every Real- time Strategy game, but the gameplay is so pure, classic and well- made that makes the difference. I think that for its time was pretty advanced with great Campaigns and hundreds of hours gameplay in Skirmish and still today, personally, its in my Top 5 RTS ever made. I just like play, create a nation from nothing, have hundreds of units and bases everywhere, destroy the enemy team, support my allies, create my own maps and it just makes me happy. Besides, that's the point...
Very few people know this game and/or have played it, which is a real shame as it has do much to offer when it came out. It followed closely in the footsteps of the Age of Empires games, and took the best aspects of it ... Read Full Review
