If Blade Runner was a video game, this would be the closest thing to it. When I first saw this game CD, I thought "What is Einhander?" I popped it in the gray block of greatness that is Playstation, and from then on, it was history. I always had a love of arcade style shooters that involved crazy looking aircrafts. This one is the icing on the cake. The mysterious futuristic setting, the story of the Earth and Moon at war (but nobody cares), and the creativity of the aircrafts itself. Every entertaining aspect was great, sound, graphics, replay value, all great. The power-ups of various believable weaponry are just plain awesome and the game has some of the most innovative robotic bosses around. The only downside is that the game is rather short but still, Einhander is a gem in my book.
