There was a time in gaming lore when games were made that were just fun to play. It is my personal opinion that Front Mission 3 is the best stategy game of all time. It is also my opinion that Einhander is the best shooter of all time. (Ikaruga, which I do own for the GC, is a close second). This game has it all: it's music is really good, the sounds are realistic and are good. The concept is simple, you shoot everything in sight and do everything to make it out alive. If you are old enough you will remember the game Defender. This game adds a really innovative twist of "pods". Your ship has a pod attached to it, by which it can grab and use different weapons that the enemy will drop. The einhander can use these weapons against the enemy. This really adds a different element to the standard "shoot em up".
The music to this game really shines.
The only place you can get this game is on the net, but it is really worth it.
