Xbox One's Ryse no longer Kinect-exclusive
Microsoft confirms Ryse: Son of Rome no longer requires Kinect, will be launch title for next-gen platform.
Microsoft announced today during its 2013 Electronic Entertainment Expo briefing that Ryse--now called Ryse: Son of Rome--will not require the Kinect.
An extended gameplay demo for the game was shown, displaying a Roman soldier battling various barbarians as button presses are displayed onscreen.
"I've been searching for a way to make this game for a long time," Crytek CEO Cevat Yerli said today.
