this is just my opinion but i was dissapointed. I've gotten over my initial anger at the movie (i was seriously pissed the first day). Now I'm gonna be professional about it.

The Good:
-great graphics
-better than most of the Dynasty Warrior series
-the girls are pretty cute

The Bad:
-weird, unadjustable controls(some of us are used to using the arrow keys)
-the charcters aren't that much different from their predecessors
-repetitive gameplay
-boring story

I was hopeful about the new Dynasty Warriors game. Personally I've never been a huge fan of the series but hope springs eternal. Unfortunately there is no more hope for this series, atleast not from me. Initially the previews looked promising but the game was nowhere near as good. And when I tried to return it the guy only offered me $12 (I hope one of my friends want this for their birthday). Any way, lets start with what's good. The graphics are great which is one thing that I've always expected from the Dynasty Warriors games. And it's better than most of the others, mainly because it is portable. The best part of the game is the girls. They're pretty cute, but unfortunately the game doesn't do them justice. Now for the bad, the controls were uncomfortabe (especially for me because the PSP3000 has a really short analog stick). And no matter how hard I looked I couldn't find the settings to change them. So for the rest of the game I suffered them (I beat the game before reviewing it... I'm stupid). The charcters aren't much different than their predeccesors. They all have their spiky haircuts and get the "Super Sayian" look when they go into Fury mode. They got this honorable background or were runaways or something predictable. Nothing new from the series here. Also, they aren't very customizable. Two outfits and weapons that all look the same to me (different blade and some new ribbons... whee). The gameplay is very repetitive. You go and do 2 or 3 quests that all have a similar plot, kill someone, find missing objects, etc. Then you go on this big battle where you have to kill some boss or something. Then you get to go and do it in a different location. It gets old fast. And whats up with the story line?!! Basically the same as everyother Dynasty Warriors. Unite the nation under one ruler or beat up some big bad ruler. It's not worth buying the new game. Instead just create a new file on the old game. Save forty bucks and the dissapointment of buying a bad game. I'm not saying this game is bad. Some people love it! However I hate it and wish I never heard of it. If you want my opinion, you should go out and buy a game like FFVII: Crisis Core, FF Tactics: War of the Lions, or Patapon 2. All great games that give you what you want.
