Although this game can get very repetitive, it can be fun.

When I was reading Game Informer magazine back in 2007 before I got my 360, I saw a ad for this game and remembered how I used to watch Mobile Fighter:G Gundam back when I was a kid. So I asked for it for Christmas. When I first popped the game disc in I was quite excited and thought wow the graphics are awesome( after years of PS2 graphics). Honestly I found DW:Gundam quite enjoyable. Sure it was just a matter of mashing the X and Y buttons together to preform combos but sometimes after playing so many shooter games a hack'n slash is a nice break from shooting that guy in the head. In DW:Gundam you have two modes: Official Mode and Original Mode. Official mode is pretty much the campaign of the game where you play though stories from Mobile Suit Gundam, MS:Zeta Gundam,MS:ZZ Gundam, and etc... In Original mode you picked your character and pretty much had a random team from different MSG eras. For instance if you were Domon from Mobile Fighter G Gundam your team was Puru from ZZ Gundam and Milliardo Peacecraft from Gundam Wing. Honestly I was puzzled why they had random teams but as I progressed I didn't mind as much. I must warn you that every battle feels the same and every story feels the same. Overall I racked up a ton of hours in the game and got 1000 GS in it. I didn't get 1000GS in it until May of 2010 and I first got the game in December of 2007. Of course I played other games not just DW:Gundam. One thing since first playing DW:Gundam is that I have been watching all the Gundam animes such as MS Gundam, Zeta Gundam, and Gundam Wing and I have enjoyed them. I hope this review helps and if you have any questions just message me. Overall DW:Gundam can be an enjoyable game if you enjoy giant mechs, hack'n slash gameplay, and annoying voice acting!
