Fans of the Dynasty Warriors and Gundam series will like this. Everyone else should rent it first.

Well, I've been playing this for a few days now and I'm really having a good time. There is ALOT of button mashing and wading thru countless waves of enemies. I personally like being a killing machine and dropping the hammer on countless drone-like enemies. The quick pace of the missions will keep you on your toes. For those of you who do not like repetitive action, you will not like this game.

This game really showcases the armored suits and gives the player a good deal of customization.....although not nearly as much as games like Armored Core.

I do have to complain about the awkward camera controls during space missions, but hopefully I will get used to it. Another thing I miss about the Dynasty/Samurai Warrior games is the ability to hop on a horse or elephant to use as transport. Obviously a giant mech can't partake in such activities. Still I am happy to see companies still making big-time games for the PS2, and I hope to see more games of the same caliber as DWG2.
