Play it for an hour, then throw it.. it's not worth.
Talk about gameplay : The game start with some general and their territory, you can either pick a fixed general with their land or choose a new officer in a neutral place to begin your journey.. FIrst you conquer new land to have new commands like replenish your troops or blacksmith, have income to build your army.... Sound good..
But when it come to a battle, problems happens here : Well, the game say that you can order a general in your army to defend a base or attack an enemy base, and they have a massive number of troops to control. But, in battles, you'll only find that all of your officers are-so-pathetic. Take an example, i have the MIGHTY LUBU under my control, with 20000 troops in his hand and all i order to 'em is only just crush a little, peacefully, cutie, supply base for goodness sake!! And after 20 mins, when i'm fighting with the enemy general, i heard 'em yell : "impossible, me, lose ?" (Lubu) and the very-familiar message : Lubu's unit is STRUGGLING !! Er.. whats happened ? Ask the lord. Another..funny.. features is, well you too, have your own troops to control ( the game say that, but you'll find only your self crushing pack to pack of enemies). So, your troops wont' fight in the battles, and, ridiculously, they'll DIE if you go eating a dim sum, or a fried chicken, or whatever food you found in the game. Yes, i mean it, they'll die man by man if you go eating. What is this, Koei ?
Oh, and to use an item, first you must use a command that can "develop" your territory to find it, and then make it. But it only usable in one battle, after that, say bye bye bye to it. So it mean you need to make a horse to run, after a battle, make another one, use it, over and over again. Is that happy ?
Your weapons is not gonna be good, promise, you'll start in EVERY scenario with a pathetic lvl1 weapon, and to have a lvl4, you need to order a blacksmith to upgrade your weapon 20 times, and, because the "commands" are limited, you can only order him 2 times a turn in the beginning, and youll need money, too, so to make a lvl 4 weapons, is really a big, pointless, stupid job to do. In sum, gameplay are : S-U-C-K
Graphic : Not a single impress, a general execute the same ol attack, musou, wipe out a bunch of crows, make way to the general. And that's all ! Want a check what is a really good graphics game ? Go try God of War.
Sound : one word to describe : Dumb. My legendary Three Kingdom hero Guan Yu yell like my grand Mother.. Voice acting is so weak, music is all the same, it change when you win, lose, fight general, and thats all. None of this game soundtrack is attractive to me.
So >>> i suggest you should try to rent this game, enjoy it in sum hour, then give it back, spend your time in another better game.
