like the song...yes it goes on and on my friend, some people started playing it not knowing what it is was and they'll continue playing it forever just become...

second verse same as the first.
it boggles me how koai can continue to put out the same stupid game over and over and over again and yet i can't stop playing it! the game play consists of continuously pressing the attackbutton over and over as you swim through a seemingly endless army of enemies. the appeal is that you're a one man wrecking machine and the drawback for the most part is that it's all up to YOU.

the advantages to dw4:e are many and i think it is by far one of the best installments in the series.
a. the empires system gives you a map of chine broken up into territories that you can take risk-style with each territory providing you with specific bonuses. the game plays much like Shogun except you get to go down on the field and kick some butt.
b. you can chose your ally generals and level them up, chose which territories to attack, chose which territories to upgrade, chose which captured generals to hire into your own army. ofcourse there's no real storyline except for a few cut sequences as you grab more land, but being able to take over land in any order you like saves you the tedium of going through the same story mode with all 40(or so) characters.
c. you can create your own unique hero with custom looks, base stat templates a unique skill and any weapon in the game.
d. skills are a nice addition to the game as before NPC generals would fight but provide little benefit in the overall outcome, now generals can boost their troops morale, ambush, increase attack, convert enemy units to your side, etc... a well placed charge or defensive stand by one of your lt. generals can quickly change the course of battle.

this is a game for those of you who like blunt force trauma. for those of you who are tired of sneaking around to backstab one guy or sneak past a patrol, for those of you who don't like guns and would much rather get your hands bloody.....

... if you want a little bit of strategy and a personal body count in the 100's then this is a game that will keep you occupied for a long long time.
