I wasn't expecting Dying Light to be all that good. However, upon playing the game, I was immediately sucked into it. The parkour gameplay is fluid, smooth, and very easy once you get the hang of it. There is quite a bit to do. You can play the main story, and you can distract yourself by doing various side quests. There are many different weapons, including guns, crowbars, knives, and other melee weapons. You can even upgrade them with electricity and stuff. The visuals are pretty stunning, and I barely experienced any hiccups or bugs. The voice acting is solid and most of the characters are pretty interesting. MOST of them. The main character is pretty generic, in my opinion. Now on to the actual story. The story itself is intriguing, but not enough to keep be fully interested. So, all in all, if you like zombie games, or even open world games in general, I HIGHLY recommend giving Dying Light a shot.
