A Tactics Game That Is About Tactics
Although you can't create multi-class characters, you can still create a grand variety of single class characters unique to your own playing style and put together interesting parties.
The graphics of this game is a little grainy but still detailed and quite beautiful. The music background and sound effects do an adequate job.
The menu system might seem a little bothersome at first but you'll soon get used to it.
Adventures start out easy but soon become quite challenging. The game play is wonderfully deep and requires considerable amount of preparation -- you need to understand the role of your characters, their strengths and how to use these strengths and what items/equipment you should bring with you. As the game follows D&D rules, don't expect this to be just another srpg where leveling up and bringing a pack full of potions will get you out every time.
Summary: if you want a deep tactics game, this title may be what you are looking for.
