Outstanding team based tactical strategy: Missing a few 3.5 key points however...

Team turn based D & D strategy games are few and far between: the last great one was Temple of Elemental evil (Neverwinter Nights series is a different creature) so this is a godsend for:

obviously D & D fans,

but also tactical strategy gamers that love deep rule set and character customization: (i.e. fans of FF TACTICS/ Disgaea/ OgreMage / Downsides:

Exploration phase is really unwieldy for movement: with no shortcuts in menu selection.

MISSING THESE ELEMENTS FROM 3.5 Many vital feats: like Improved Trip, Imp Feint, as well as most of the cool psionic feats.

Wizard School Specialization

and Most Importantly: NO MULTICLASSING,

But its still a fantastic fix for party turn based D & D despite these setbacks.

  Menu complexity might keep the 1-5 year olds from fully grasping the game. The rest of us have some fun to do.
