Dissapointing sequel to a great game. Poor controls due to console compatability.
I certaintly enjoyed Dungeon siege 1 and 2 along with Diablo 1 and 2, and even though it doesn't require alot of thinking to play, it's probably compared to watching Two and a half men, it's fun and relaxing.
With that in mind i started up Dungeon siege 3 and started playing. A few seconds passed and i notised the shalow camera control, not to mention the auto camera when moving your character. Opening up the character screen and i immediately notised what was wrong with everything so far..
This game along with an increasing number of other games, suffer the horrible fate of having to be console adaptable. And you can feel this in the first few seconds of playing this game.
Call me old fashioned and not able to adjust to new ways to play a game, perhaps true, but that still doesn't change how I see the game.
Im sure you guessed by now that im not impressed with this game. If i had a 10 year old son it was money well spend, but alas that is not the case. And even then, i'd chose the Torchlight game for him.
