Another clever variation in the Tower Defense realm; adds RPG-Lite avatar and giant boss fights.

The main review here has some good points. The floaty jumping is annoying, and the auto-targeting is so bad it is sometimes fatal. But the slow run speed is totally not a negative. The whole point of the game is managing where you put your towers and your attention. If you are too far from your base when you hear it under attack you really start to sweat. If you could just teleport there it would be boring.

The game is still so flashy-explody fun that it is the kind of game you'll hop in to any time you have 30 minutes free. Collecting randomly generated equipment to improve your stats is a proven formula. And watching four characters fighting 500 orcs with gems and spells flying everywhere is awesome and never laggy.

One negative the review missed is the balance between the characters though. Only the Monk and the Squire are any good once the fighting starts. Their attacks are PBAoE, and the baddies are always clumped. The Huntress is particularly pathetic once you figure that in to the DPS. And the Apprentice's towers are by far the best. AoE Fireballs, and a wall that removes fire resistance. Any Monk or Huntress who wastes a tower slot with their crappy crap should get booted off the server.

So absolutely get it if you like tower defense. Hella get it if you have a friend interested in it too. You will have tons of fun and it's cheap.
