Not as bad as they say, find out why.
First off, any game like this is always going to be compared to the Grand Theft Auto games - and I have them all too, they are great games. What I'm saying is Driv3r is in no way better than those games, or any other drive/onfoot/ free roam type game, but its not as bad as people say it is.
OK the driving is excellent - just as fun like the first Drivers, the handling is nice and slidey (you get used to it) the graphics are very good, and the storyline should keep you entertained for long enough, as well as the missions which are hard, but if you've any experience at all with this type of game, it should be no problem.
I agree with people saying the on foot stuff in the game is not fun. It's just difficult to control at first, but again, once you're used to it, there should be no problem.
So bottom line is this game is decent its just that decent isn't good enough with so many of these type of driving/onfoot games around these days. So I think seeing scores like 2 and 3 out of 10 is just unfair. I'm gonna give the game a good 7 out of 10, which I'd say to anyone, regardless whether or not they played the latest Grand Theft Auto or whatever.
