Nice combat but the gameplay doesn't vary enough. Too easy.

a fine explore and fight game but it becomes repetitive after awhile. More games should have this type of combat system with swords -- it isn't too simple but you have several fighting moves to try out. Flying on the dragon is good, though you can't see as much of the landscape as one would like. The PS2 seems to have problems drawing the distances needed while flying on the dragon. The biggest drawback of the game is that you have pretty much seen all that the game has to offer by the time you reach the half-point. The landscape textures will change to snow or lava but the gameplay doesn't change or even get significantly harder. As long as you keep a few invisibility potions for the hard fights you will find the game easy-going to the end. The puzzles in the dungeon levels are pretty darn easy so this is basically an easy real-time sword fighting game with some dragon-flying bits thrown in for variety.
