INTRO
If somebody asked me what my favorite RPG was, I would have no doubt in my mind. It is Dragon Warrior Monsters. The level of depth this game has is like no other. It is impossible not to get hooked if try this game. But isn't it just a Pokemon rip off? No.

GAMEPLAY

Dragon Warrior Monsters(DWM) has over 30 "worlds" that you travel through. As you go on the worlds get progressively harder (monsters get stronger, levels increase in size, tougher bosses). Each of these worlds are exciting to visit because there is always something unique. The feeling you get after conquering one of them many bosses is great. Revisiting a world isn't a problem because each of the worlds are randomly generated. So you are basically exploring these worlds with your three monsters in your party. This becomes extremely addictive because the urge to level up your monsters grows as you play. The more XP you gain the more skills you acquire, through a deep system. It is important to level up your monsters because throughout the game you will compete in tournaments. Winning in this is key. Sure, this sounds a lot like Pokemon, but DWM does it all better. What ties the whole thing together and puts this more than a few steps in front of Pokemon is the unbelievable breeding system, but more on that later. It will be many hours before you tire of DWM insanely addictive gameplay. ------------------------------------------------------------
GRAPHICS

The graphics in DWM are nothing special, but they certainly get the job done. The world of Great Tree, which is the main area in the game, is detailed and colorful. The highlight of the graphics would have to be all of the nicely crafter monsters. Each one looks unique making finding all 200 something of them fun.

SOUND

The sound in DWM has a certain mood to it. Im not going to lie, it does get annoying eventually due to the fact that it rarely changes, but it really gets you pumped to explore. The music is well written and creative but I wish there was a little more.

VALUE

Believe me when I say that this game has a ridiculous amount of replay ability to it. Beating the game takes many, many hours. After beating the game you still have so much left. I have yet to collect every monster even after 100 hours of gameplay. After you complete the game you will have one more arena battle that puts all the rest to shame. You also gain access to new worlds and bosses to defeat. Even after all of this is complete, which trust me will take you a very long time, the breeding system is what will keep you coming back. Never, not even in current games, has there been a breeding system this in depth. The possibility's are endless. Take any two monsters (as long as they are male and female) and breed them together. What you get is a child that if bred correctly will be more powerful than its parents. Making the correct decision when breding who with who is essential. The monsters offspring will be able to learn all of its parents skills over time (although eventually you will have to pick which it keeps) and get a fraction of both parents stats combined, then divided by 4. Breeding certain monsters together will create rare monsters that you can not find in the wild. I honestly can not stress enough the depth of this breding system. It truly makes this game a classic.

TILT
During the hours and hours I spent with this game, It became clear to me that DWM is no normal game. It is an RPG that had the ability keep me playing for years and years, to this very day. I am not a fan of the RPG genre, in fact i cant stand most of them. But the depth of this game and that attachment you get to the monsters you raise, who's parents you raised, whos parents you raised ECT... just is incredible. If you have not played this game buy it. Right Now.
