COR BLIMEY!
When I first picked this game up from Blockbuster, I wasn't so sure about it. I popped it in and sat down, praying that I was going to get my money's worth.
For the first half an hour or so, I found the game tremendously boring, yet I couldn't stop playing. I had to see what happened. When I went after my first boss, the game started to get a bit more interesting. I had just started less than an hour before and already the story was amazing.
At around 2-3 hours into the game, I couldn't set my PS2 Controller down. I had to keep going. The game was a masterpiece. Normally I wasn't a huge fan of Turn-Based games, especially ones that include random battles.
The graphics are amazing. From the very start, the game looked very beautiful. I've always been a huge fan of Cell Shaded games, and this utilized it to the very extent.
The story was mind blowing! All the twists and turns in the main story and side stories were amazing. Level 5 was not afraid to get creative and step outside of the box. The genious company behind the FF series, Square Enix, were also a major player in the creation of the game.
The creators also have a quite a sense of humor. Whenever Yangus exclaimed "COR CLIMEY" and froze in place, I'd laugh so hard I'd pee myself.
This is a crappy review for a fantastic game, but I tried my best! I hope it's not too horrible, this is my first review.
