Total crap. I am a DBZ fan and I have to say that this game is total crap. The fighting system is abysmal its just a button mashing mess. Basically the entire fighting system is kick kick kick punch punch punch. No cool combos or any good special moves. A combo in this game is mashing the same stupid button over and over again. A special move would be punch punch punch punch energy blast. Its really stupid. There is no strategy or depth. The story mode isnt that great either. A DBZ fan might be pleased with the cinematics because most likely he or she probably already know what happens at that certain part. A person who never watched the show will probably be clueless because it doesnt really explain anythin that happens. Like at the beggining when Vegeta turns into the oozaru monkey a person who never watched the show would be like WTF?!? Why did Vegeta just turn into a giant monkey. It doesnt really explain anything at all everything just happens. The characters arent really as cool either and some things they do just dont make sense during the cinematics and dont follow the story at all. Like when Piccolo shoots Goku and Raditz with the Special Beam Cannon hes like oh my god I killed Goku. He didnt even notice that Goku was going to be killed when he fired the beam. Maybe these thing bother me a bit too much but it just annoy me because its hardly faithful to the show at all. I can say a few positive things about the game though. Fortunatley all the charactr are voiced very well and sound exactly like in the show. The music is ok too. The graphics arent bad either it does have a few jaggies but thats it. Its also unlike the other atrocious DBZ titles like Taiketsu an Ultimate Battle 22 playable and perhaps even a bit enjoyable for the first few minutes until it gets old. To all reading this if you want a good DBZ game get Supersonic Warriors is pretty good I have it. Its alot of fun and is one of my favorite gameboy games. Dont listen to all the other DBZ fans who love this game. They are just so desperate for a good DBZ game that they take any DBZ game they see and say its awesome. I hope Budokai 3 is good I really do. It would be awesome to have a good DBZ game on consoles. Only pick this one up if you are really realy desperate for a good DBZ game and dont have a gameboy advance or dont like 2-d fighters. Because as I said Supersonic Warriors is really good.
