Tenkaichi2 greatly fuse Budokai and Tenkaichi elements into an amazing formula that will please both fans and newcomers.
In this release, Atari greatly increase, the number of options, the arts of fighting, the afventure mode´s stories and in case of that was less, the number of players, with a HUGE data base over the 100 characters!!!. Same that you will be able to find by fusing potaras obtained in the wide adventures of the world of Dragon Ball, that flies through the universe of Dragoon Ball Z, Dragoon Ball GT and more than 10 Dragon Ball´s movies., events that maximize the Dragon Ball feeling of the game.
The graphics are similar to the previous game, cell-shaded- style, but with important improvements that show greater details at the hour of the fights, and at the time of receiving and showing the damage obtained in the middle of the battle.
The sound gives a good atmosphere to the game, although in the fights it could have been improved to give more exciting surroundings to the fight.
Perhaps what was more improved was the style of the game and the options, since taking advantage of the amount of players, now you will be able to make transformations in battle, this, added to the new way of “tag battle”, will allow you to create characters like Gogeta or Gotenks in the middle of a fight. Thus increasing the level of the game and the replay value to the limits.
At the end, Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2, offers to the players wide battle ways, with diverse options and an important number of characters, options that you will leave totally satisfied to the players. Despite the slight details that has to be improved, like the tedious that can become adventure mode, or the camera-problems in the versus mode; this details, that are important could be improved in the next delivery, specially with on-line features.
After more than 20 years, Akira Toriyama and his characters continues subsisting in spite of the years and Tenkaichi 2 its an excellent form to revive the moments of this serie, in a huge one game that is worth to buy it specially for fans of the saga.
