This game was Budokai 1 plus a lot more! It had better graphics. It had fusions. It had more characters. This game would of been Budokai's 1 superior if not for that stupid Story Mode. It was trying to give us a way to choose our own path to how to beat a level but it was a terrible attempt. It was kind of like a board game but it was bad. Goku would be the only character on the board that had a full body. Everybody else would be a board piece with a picture of their heads on it. It would of been cool to see everybodies full body on the board. This game, unlike the first, went from the saiyan saga all the way to the kid buu saga. I liked that addition. This game also made it a bit harder to do special moves. Examples are having to rotate the joysticks to fill a bar or pick a button and hope your oponent didnt pick the sae one or else your attack wouldnt do as much damage. Overall to me it's a better game except for the story mode compared to Budokai 1.
