Well... lets start with the plot.... there is none, there is no plot which, immediately reduced the games score by at least two points in my opinion, there is no story mode, no cut scenes, no nothing. there is a "galaxy mode" which is i guess a compensation for the lack of a story mode, that lets you play with any character you like, no back ground to those fights, just fight who ever they give you, win, and with that you unlock new characters which is more or less the only progress you get in the game, all there is in this game, is a bit of trash talk in the start and the end of the battles, which to be honest most of the time doesn't make sense.

Now on to the gameplay, the gameplay is actually quite good, not very, but quite, i enjoy those battles even though the get repetitive and boring after some time, but still with the large number of characters its really hard to get old, but unfortunately it does, thats about all i can say, i am not going to go into all the crappy camera which didn't disturb me much and the other stuff.

The graphics and animations are smooth, pretty and shinny. overall not much to say about those, sound effects and music are really appropriate in most battles and thats that.

about the multi-player, i haven't played it yet, but i have played with friends and might i say its a raging blast, and actually feels like the reason that game was made for

I don't really have any other remarks that game spot hasn't mentioned, overall the game is really fun, but gets boring quickly because of the lack of an actually story mode, and the battle mode gets old pretty quickly, so here is the math 10-2(for plot)-3(for getting old quick)+2(actually really fun with friends) so for me its a 7 with benefits.
