Maybe one of the greatest games so far

User Rating: 9 | Dragon Age: Origins (Collector's Edition) PC
This is one of those games that are hard to review. It is a great game no doubt. Not perfect but great none the less. The story is excellent and the game play and cut scenes did a very good job telling it. One of my complaints is the very end does seem kind of rushed but after those final cutscenes it didn't hurt it that much. I gave it an easy rating for difficulty as that is what I played it at. I play games for entertainment, not a challenge. At easy there is no where in the game that comes across as hard. Don't get me wrong. You can't go very many places, hack-n-slash and throw a few spells or you are going to be reloading a lot. You need to pay attention to your health bars as they will fall pretty fast and once down that character is out till a revival spell is cast, your crew is the last one standing or you reload. And you will have to use some tactical thouught. My one other complaint is I am a big fan of games like Oblivion, Gothic, Two Worlds, etc. that have wide open go any where worlds. Dragon Age is not like that. You are pretty much spending a lot of your time in the cities. Most of the questing; main and side; is done inside except for when you play w/ the Dalish (Elves). You move around from city to city from your map. You see where you are, click on where you want to go (providing the area has been opened). Little blotches move across the map towards your destination. Occassionally you will stop along the way to fight something but then the little blotches get going again.
Those are my only real complaints. Get it you will love it.
