Like the title says for once the fast paced style of games like Oblivion and the classic style/ turn based for Final Fantasy lovers have been combined. The game has a central plot with a single ending much like Bio-ware's Mass Effect , but also allows for some plot changing choices. The world is vast and the side quest and story is well thought-out. The story and responses of the characters are realistic for once, and finally the graphics and finishers that are thrown in make the game appealing to the eyes. The only downfall is for faced paced players the game can seem short about sixteen hours for only main story. Nevertheless, when the creators called their game hard core, it was laughable at first ( sounded nerdy ) but they revealed a game that catered to the desires of both fast paced and turn based players. Minimal glitches sited, as well as a bright future for Bio-ware. My only complaint is I love more open worlds and that the creatures variability is also a little displeasing. I mean I understand their is one enemy and a story for every creature lines the game but still sometimes the players would just like to see something new, water creatures, a phoenix, or even ents would be cool and I feel fits in this games style. Just saying. Even without those things this game still stands elite in the RPG and definitely has my favor.

ADDED AFTER FURTHER REVIEW: Dragon Age Origins succeeds and fails so much. Score isn't changing for me because the gameplay is very fun and very opened ended. SPOILERS* But the mage and warrior class I noticed are so unbalanced compared to the Rogue, which is useless in some situations. The value of replay is great since its nearly impossible to go for all legendary shop items/ and abilities. One last thing, some people hate but I like it... Dragon Age does allow for you or the computer to be instantly killed sometimes depending on smart or stupid the AI can get at moments.
