Long and rewarded game

User Rating: 9 | Dragon Age: Inquisition PS4

I started playing this game after months of being bought. I read the reviews back then, realizing that this game is very long. I decided to give a try three weeks ago. I wish to say, that even that this game is very long, almost 100 hours of gameplay. However, you won't feel that it is a waste of time. You are doing several side quests that increase the levels of the inquisitor and the team, making the main story easy to go through.

The story is the main factor of this game. It evolves through the hours of gameplay. You know the story behind each of the crew who follows you. The games develops well the fact that you are getting the confidence of those who follows you and make influence to increase the followers. The game achieves the sense of progression and reward that make you never get bored while keeping you interested to know what happens next.

The game is not perfect. It could have worked on more robust cutscenes. However, it is good enough to put this as an AAA game. Great characters, good twits of story, good involving.

You may feel some repetitiveness some time but it is important to level up well before the final main story mission. I reached level 21 before getting the final mission and it was close to be hard (however, it wasn't hard, but It would be if I were level 16 or less).

I marked 96 hours of gameplay. This game makes the challenge of keeping the gamers always looking for more into the story.

The soundtrack is OK. Not the best I heard but it is OK. The graphics are next gen but it was not totally breathtaking. However, beautiful designed and huge in term of lands and places to go.

I haven't played the DLC, however, you will feel the need to purchase it after completing the main story. I don't know if I am going to do so.

The multiplayer is a great addition. However, In my perspective, it is far from being the main reason to buy this game. This is a story-based game, and the main reason for buying this game should be the Campaign. I played through the multiplayer just few minutes. It is very good and addictive, however, I would like to notice that it won't reward you in trophies nor it will affect the Campaign. It would be GREAT if it has some Co-op. I am pretty sure that next installments will add this feature.

Must-play for those who play previous Dragon Age and those who like RPG.

Thanks for reading.
