Good graphics and play, unforgivable use of repeated dungeons and lack luster characters

User Rating: 6 | Dragon Age II PC
The game starts off great, I was expecting a good long run at this. The story begins varied and the characters introduced initially seem interesting. I immediately noticed the change in combat from Dragon Age I, which is very thrilling and almost modern martial arts movie style.

A few hours in I began to notice the repeated use of dungeons, they just close off certain areas depending which dungeon you are in, but ultimately they are repeated very often, just with different paths set to them.

Everything tapers off rapidly as the game progresses and the disappointment sets in. I finished it for the sake of completing the game, I was too far in to give up. But for me, it was like one of those movies where 3 quarters of the way in one wants to leave, but stays because one has seen so much of it anyway.

If you are a massive fan of the Dragon Age story, then play it, but don't expect anything great. It took me a while to admit it, but if there is a third one coming out, I will wait and see what people think before rushing into this one.
