My wife is a big DA fan, she loves 1, all the dlc, and 2. I on the other hand got as far as the beggining story for 1 and that was enough for me. Well being an acheivement hound as i am I decided to give DA2 a shot. I honestly have to say I enjoyed every minute of my time with it. The fighting controls felt more like you were actually fighting and not just letting the game do the work. I loved the story line and the people in the game.My only complaint was being that you only moved from the city to basically the mountains you kinda felt restricted and or trapped in an area. The game was great to me but I could see that hardcore fans of 1 wouldn't care for the changes and new restrictions of travel. So this is why i say the game was good for me (a casual rpger) but maybe not for the hardcore.
