Bioware finally made a bad game.

Boring, derivative, Short development cycle definitely shows. The story is lacking, the characters are generic, Combat is dumbed down. You explore the same parts of the game over and over, Repetitive. This was a Bioware cash in, i can't even call it a Sophomore slump. This was phoned in and it shows. I can't even break it down i'm so pissed off and annoyed. A clear console port for the PC with a tacked on hi res texture pack. Origins is a far and away superior game. I can't believe it... Bioware has made a bad game. This is far below the quality we have come to expect from bioware.


Graphics 7/10 - it's a good looking game, a good looking console game. On the PC you can tell even with the hi res pack that the graphics have been dumbed down for the console.

Gameplay 4/10 - A hack and slash mess. Tacked on controls with boring real time combat. Click, click, click rinse repeat. NO EXPLORABLE WORLD!!!! WTF! click and go fast travel how dumb. Whole game takes place in one city.No character party inventory, You can only change the main characters armor. Much of the classical RPG elements are missing.

Sound 3/10 - 5.1 surround sound is broken as hell. Diolauge scenes are low and almost muted, without subtitles i would not know what was going on. Music is ok... combat vioces are annoyingly frequent. The male main character's voice is like nails on a chalk board annoying.

Nevermind that DA2 cant stand up to Origins it can't even stand on it's own as a competent RPG. It's only saving grace may be some DLC that we must pay for of course. Bad form Bioware, i have lost a lot of faith in you.
