Missed opportunity

I had a feeling when this game was announced, that it was going to be the one that FINALLY put this series back on the map. OMG, was i wrong. I let them fool me with using DD2 NES sprites (my fav in the series). ARC clearly played too much DD3 when developing the difficulty level, and enjoyment factor of this horse sh!t. Yeah it had DD2 sprites, as well as some DD1 sprites, and DD1 music; but when designing the difficulty, they ONLY borrowed from DD3. I feel like it always thinks i'm playing 2 player, because on average, there's about 6 minimum enemies on screen at one time. There's non-stop screen tearing. Burnov is basically a trash mob in this game even though he still has boss strength and HP, because after him being the boss of the first level, they start handing you 3 at a time in every level afterwards. Also, wtf is the point of that stupid auto pilot raft 5 seconds into the game? Why is that necessary? Everything just feels off. The physics of the jumping makes me feel like i'm on the moon, and even punching feels weird. It's DD3 all over again, where doing the spin kick the whole time is all that's necessary, because the mobs are too stupid NOT to get hit by it. I've been a DD fan since the original came out in arcades, but omg is this one bad. At least it has 2 buddies to play with in the sh!t pit now (DD5 and DD3). One last thing, which is the only thing in defense of this because i'm sick of reading people's stupid ass comments about it being numbered as part 4. IT'S PART 4 OF THE NES SERIES, SINCE THEY'RE ALMOST TOTALLY DIFFERENT THAN THE ARCADE, HENCE THE GRAPHICS, AND TRAILER ONLY SHOWING THE NES GAMES. NOW STFU WITH THAT!
