A classic that is STILL as addictive and enjoyable as it was when it burst onto the scene back in 1993.

Arguably the best shooter ever made and in my opinion the best game ever made, Doom changed the fate of the gaming industry forever with its gory, fast paced, straight forward gameplay. It set the standard for future franchises and has thus helped in bringing the FPS genre where it is today. Even after all these years Doom has something unique that cannot be duplicated which is why the game is still played by many all over the world. The only games that qualify to be included in the same league are Half Life and Halo.

All hail Doom....the Cyberdemon of the FPS genre.
