If you've played doom for pc and love/ed it, and are ready for more of the same awesomeness, buy doom for GBA. I remember playing a demo version of doom(never actually got the full version. . .) on my computer about seven years ago, and how much fun it was. So, three days before another long family vacation, meaning close up and personal time with my GBA, I decided that it was time for a new game. So after a long and bloody struggle to find a copy, and a used one at that, and playing it, I can attest that this game still rocks. Graphics are the same. Controls are easy. Gun sounds and models are great for GBA, music sucks. Everything is still there. This game is still violent, gory, and fun enough to satisfy any male's desire to kill. This game does support co-op for 2 or 4 player death match, all of which I've seen played. Look like fun, I hope to join in, especially on the co-op. Note: The lighting is not nearly as much of an issue if the brightness is turned up, special lighting is switched to static, and you've spent the $5 to buy one of those light/screen covers. Worthwhile investment for any GBA. In conclusion, if you liked doom, or want to try it out knowing that it's a mindless slaughter of demons with no plot but it tons of fun, get doom for GBA. that or doom 2, which I haven't played but is basically the same.
