Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble was a little disappointing. I felt that the creators tried to drag it out, and change the original storyline, and make it better. That didn't work they basically ruined the whole classical dk game. The game was also way to hard, and gets you so frustrated that you just want to quit. The game also has a lot of bugs. For example the game constantly freezes and you lose your saved data, and my guess is that they rushed threw the game so that it would come out before the Nintendo 64. There wernnt to many new things to do like #2 had with all the getting on new animals, and a much more advanced water levels. Basically they tried to rush the game, and make the graphic way to advanced for the snes and that is why you lose saved data, and it freezes, and crashes.

They should have ended it after #2 when you killed king royal ghost the second time. The game is way to hard, and it gets frustrating after a while. When I first played #1 and I got up to ice land it was so hard trying to get past it, but I never got mad or frustrated. But here they just make you die for stupid stuff, like just walking, and getting hit by lightning. Another thing that was depressing was the coast, and disappointing.

I bought the first 2 used for $10 and $8 then the third one was $20. At the time $20 bucks for a snes game was unheard of. But I figured it was probably one of the best, and will be worth it. So I bought it. And boy was I happy to get home and play with it... then I was very disappointed and very unhappy.

As far as the Graphics goes it was a little better than #1,and #2 but it took to much stuff, and ruined the game. They really should have took there time playing it, instead of rushing to beat the Nintendo 64. The Sound was the same old classical good sound, but at better quality, so that was good at least. The Gameplay was very disappointing it was different witch is good, but it was different in a stupid un classical way. Every thing was like very lame it was more of a walk threw game, then an obstacle game. It was very doll and boring, and some levels there were a time limit, witch was really annoying, and to make it worse there was no clock you just had to rush, not knowing when it was to late, and you were going to die. The Value was horrible like I said $20 for a game worse than the original witch cost $10, so check your bargin bin on that, and consider just buying #1, and #2. And why pay $20 for a game that’s going to be crashing, and freezing and ruining your Gameplay. As far as me personally liking the game, I did like that it was a classic, and the game isn’t to bad, but not worth $20, or to have the hassle of starting over.
