Donkey Kong Country 2 is a great game that is very well recomended.

The original was good: This one is slightly better, but is it king? No. Donkey Kong: He is one misunderstood fella. He comes across as stupid, tough, somewhat friendly, and he has good games. Ok, that is all true, but there is one truly good game in his series... and he wasn't even IN it! Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy Kong's quest makes this already great series something truly awesome. It didn't take anything away from the first one: In fact, it expands it! The great visuals and somehow addicting gameplay is still intact, but they did every possible upgrade imaginable: They made the game start eaisier and end harder, they slightly upgraded the visuals, and they added more excellent ways to play. Here are my damn points:
+Visuals are excellent.
+Dixie Kong is way better than Donkey Kong (no you damn perverts.)
+Monkey sounds are great.
+What other game lets Diddy rap and Dixie play the guitar?
+Bosses are greatly improved.
+...Is everything a sequal should be.
- Horrendus music.
- Intro is of lesser quality.
- Final Boss is too hard.
- Nothing really that mind bending.
Overall: 8.5/10
Buy this game if you enjoy platformers or if you like Diddy Kong. Everyone else that owns a SNES: Rent it. Now.
