A solid improvement over the first Donkey Kong Country.

User Rating: 9 | Super Donkey Kong 2: Dixie & Diddy SNES
Diddy's Kong Quest is the 1995 sequel to the 1994 SNES game Donkey Kong Country. It has Diddy Kong and Dixie Kong out on a quest to rescue Donkey Kong from Captain K. Rool (not to be confused with King K. Rool). Many of the faults with first game have been fixed. The game itself has more levels than the first game, and there are now things to collect, like DK and Kremling coins, which can be used to access even more levels. The graphics have improved even more (probably some the best ever on the SNES), and the level design has reached a new level of complexity with the ability to pick up and throw other Kongs. The controls are still relatively easy to learn, but the levels get insanely hard towards the end, so hard that it may even throw off some players who don't have good reflexes. That's pretty much the only downfall to what is otherwise a superb platforming game. Definately worth a buy if (like me) you did not own a SNES.
