People are saying that they hate it but are probably loving it in secret... Or they are still having head in sand
Sure I will agree that the new Dante looks really stupid from the white-haired demon murdering badass to someone who looks like that guy from American Pie (Not sure If he really looks like him but he really reminds me of him) and looks a lot like a drug addict who has casual sexual contact with angels,

And Vergil even has a worse case: They made him in to an honor-less monster who shot an innocent demon In the back, killing her baby, Pauses....And kills her! I can understand Why because hey It's Mundus' mistress who carries his child who is also a demon...Like it's father!
Now aside from the characters being turned in to something they're not, Let's get down to the story and gameplay:
Gameplay wise: It's pretty good, Mixed but it's good, The use of multiple weapons combo after combo does give some variety...Unfortunately...You sometimes come across enemies that need to have you use the red weapon or the blue weapon but you're still able to combo them pretty well. Also the grading system, Not sure how It was done in the previous DMC games (Only played 3 very briefly and have DMC4 but I really don't like that one for some reason) but the more variety the faster your rank gets up,but it only goes down for as far as I can see is if you get hit which Isn't exactly that good when you are able to jump out of the way of enemies...But you still can get hit...Unless you're a master DMC player which I don't know about that
Also the story which will be a spoiler so if you don't want to get spoiled then don't read this part: The story mostly goes with the world being controlled by the use of the Media, Mundus who looks like lex luthor who let himself go is in the form of a banker which controls people through debt, also there are a few refferences throughout the game from the news to the secret ingredient for the mind-controlling soda (Don't know the newscast reff but I do recognize the secret ingredient...No further questions Fry!) And the Idea seems perfectly possible since there are a lot of people who would be stupid enough to believe what someone on the television would say or believe that a soda does wonderful things so the story gets a good mark
And the boss battles: In My opinion I feel they are nicely done, I especially liked the Bob Barbas (Man I played the game and I forgot the boss' name, I am indeed a horrible person) boss fight where he will kill me and will DO IT LIVE! but...I won't spoil much (Actually this whole thing is a giant spoiler) but...It is good
So overall I say that this game is good for a play and if you would really like a challenge (For the hardcore DMC fans who aren't stubborn to judge the game by it's looks) there are multiple difficulties from where you can die in one hit which is pretty insane, and if you think the story is nice and like some demon butchering combat, this might be a game for you
Also don't believe when people say *This game is too easy!* Because they most likely played it on the easy difficulty, I am playing easy too but I still am getting smacked around, I will most likely replay it on a harder one
