Well...astonishing game, a wonderful big surprise...
DAO have more advertising and this go to more popularity, have in back Bioware, despite is great game anyway.
Divinity 2 don't have anything from this... for all that , without this popularity is a great game and maybe in some moments better...
Ego Draconis is a amazing adventure in the forest,villages,caves,castles with more and great quests and more new things whichever make this game to be a little original in some moments.
Player can play with own character, male or female.A big minus is (like in DAO but not so in MassEffect ! ) the missing voice in dialogues of own character. Pity, but this is it.
Another big surprise is MINDREAD !!! That is the capacity of your helpmate to give a good account of oneself in read the minds of all NPC and this is amazing!!! You can find places or passwords hide from enemies or even friends or anything you want to find from anyone to interact.Great thing despite that, for mindread need to "loose" some XP points but in your action this will save your quests in many cases.
Your enemies is trolls, goblins, monsters,sorcerer.Of course, dragons. And Divinity 2 is not a easy game, not even a normal difficulty game. I think is to hard, still with more patience and some strategy you can kill any creature even you don't have so many levels but your sword or axe hatchet is in your right hand :)
Is so hard when enemies are too many, 3 or 4 or 5... then became the infernality.Need to hide and to tout creatures, hide and kill one by one because to fight with 2 or many is very very hard if not impossible.Of course in time you get points XP and became powerfull but this not all...
And the most amazing thing of Divinity is you can turn into a dragon. Yes, you can change into a furious and buggy dragon! Drakan was a game with this change if somebody remember.
I will say graphics, sound, music are astonishing and words can say all, need to see with own eyes.
So, are many to say about Divinity 2...here are few say it by me and if are not enough...find it yourself because this game deserve to be played!
