Disney's Aladdin has its fair share of decent gameplay and difficulty, especially in a Disney game.

Disney's Aladdin hit theaters in 1992 and the Sega Genesis adaptation of the film was released the following year.
The game closely follows the film. You control Aladdin, the poor and thieving boy in Agrabah. He is caught up in a plot that the evil visir, Jafar, has concocted to marry Princess Jasmine and eventually become sultan. As Aladdin, you travel through many of the film's settings, such as the streets of Agrabah, the Cave of Wonders, and the Sultan's Palace.
You control Aladdin's movement with the D-pad and jump with the C button. You can also throw apples and swing your sword, with the A and B buttons respectively.
The game is slightly difficult. It features many of the same elements as side-scrollers, lives and continues. It features a sort of currency, the rubies from the Cave of Wonders, that is used to buy lives and wishes, or continues. Some parts of the game have sections that heavily rely on your jump timing reflexes, and in the carpet escape level, good eyes and coordination to avoid the lava and the rocks.

Overall, Disney's Aladdin for the Sega Genesis is a pretty decent game should be checked out if you have not touched your Genesis in a while.
